Opening of India-Wuhan Cultural Week
In order to deepen the friendly exchanges and cooperation between our city and India, Indian Ambassador to China Tang Yongsheng led a delegation to visit Wuhan and held a series of activities of the Indian Week in Wuhan. On the 29th, as one of the important activities of the series, the opening ceremony of the "India-Wuhan Culture Week" was held.
The series of activities of Wuhan India Week also include "India-Hubei (Wuhan) Business Seminar" and "India-Wuhan Tourism Round Table". Our city regards the series of activities of Wuhan India Week as an important carrier for strengthening the communication between the two peoples, further promoting the economic and trade exchanges between our city and India, enhancing bilateral exchanges in the fields of culture, education, tourism and so on, and pushing the exchanges and cooperation between Wuhan and India to a new level.
In his opening speech, Indian Ambassador to China Tang Yongsheng said that Hubei and Wuhan were at the forefront of efforts to strengthen the friendship between China and India. India is a diversified country, each region has its own unique culture and tradition. It is hoped that through a week of activities, Wuhan citizens will experience unique Indian characteristics and strengthen the cultural exchanges and cultural exchanges between Wuhan and India.
